LEADERS OF TOMORROW TUTORING PROGRAM AN INSTANT HIT

The Leaders of Tomorrow Program has served the Clayton County community since its inception in September of 2008 and has partnered with the Clayton County Public Library System in serving more than twenty students from various schools in the county. The objective of the Leaders of Tomorrow Program is to empower youth to achieve academic success while instilling the positive character qualities that will aid each student in becoming a leader of tomorrow. In doing so, we believe this will increase self-esteem and build confidence within the participants in their talents and abilities.

During the last several months, we have been focusing on a small group of students from various backgrounds and grade levels. We have noticed that many of the students have poor reading and math skills. In the short time we have been serving these students, we have seen measurable improvement in the academic performance of a majority of the students attending the Leaders of Tomorrow Program. We provide personal care plans for each student to track their improvements, academically and socially and we provide access to learning tools and resources along with guidance from dedicated volunteers.

We are now seeking to expand our Leaders of Tomorrow program to address the growing needs of our youth throughout the county, and we need your help!
